It uses the same obverse die, but the reverse is not shown of any of the 12 Cali-fornia varieties listed. Clear distinctions are visible between the W#8, Ind#1 shown in the online reference and this piece. We have designated this new variety as Wreath #8, Indian #1A for general purposes. Super high grade of MS68 and Top Pop! Only a handful of Cal gold specimens reach the high-grade status of MS68 out of several thousand certified. You get a new variety and a sky-high grade of MS68.
