The US Mint released several Breast Cancer Awareness coins in 2018, including this one, which (along with its uncirculated version) was the first pink-hued gold coin released by the Mint. It is 85 percent gold, 14.8 percent copper, and the remainder zinc, according to the US Mint. The obverse features two women, while the reverse features a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly. The mintage limit for the gold commemoratives was limited to a combined 50,000 coins for the uncirculated and proof versions.
