Three years after its introduction, the nugget design was revamped with one of Australia’s most iconic creatures, the kangaroo. Redesigned annually, the reverse of the coin shows a stunning rendition of the kangaroo in the wild. These gold coins are struck using a unique two-tone frosted technique. Each coin has been carefully assessed by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC) and is certified to be in near-perfect condition. Coins arrive in protective slabs courtesy of the NGC.
