Geronimo’s ability to elude capture for many years earned him a legendary reputation. In 1886, after a prolonged pursuit, he surrendered to U. Authorities, marking the end of armed resistance for the Apache people. He spent the remainder of his life as a prisoner of war, becoming a symbol of Native American resistance and the struggle for cultural preservation. NGC has introduced an exciting new offering with NGCX! To grow with the ever-expanding amount of collectibles and collectors, NGC is the first grading authority to offer a new 10-point grading scale. NGCX makes it easier for collectors from other industries to expand their interests to coins with this new scale. They assure that the same precision, consistency, and guarantee NGC has been known for since its founding in 1987, will continue into this program. With the NGCX scale, 10 is the supreme grade. Following a 10, the grades cascade, a foundation understood by all. Each coin has been carefully assessed by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC) and is certified to be in near-perfect condition. Coins arrive in protective slabs courtesy of the NGC.
