2017 South Africa 1/20 Krugerrand Gold 50th Anniversary PF70 UC FIRST RELEASES
In 2017, the South African Mint celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Krugerrand series. That celebration included the release of the first ever 1/20 oz Gold Krugerrand. The new small proof has become part of the annual series and continues to make it possible for a much larger number of people to participate in the rich tradition of the Gold Krugerrand. SPECIAL 50th ANNIVERSARY PRIVY MARK – This special-edition Gold Krugerrand features a unique privy mark. KEY FIRST RELEASES CERTIFICATION – NGC has certified that these Gold Krugerrand Proofs are First Releases coins, independent authentication that they were released during the premier day of the series’ issue. STRUCK IN HIGHLY PURE GOLD – These 2017 privy marked Krugerrands were struck in a 1/20 ounce of highly pure 916.67 % fine gold and measure 12.0mm in diameter. PERFECT PROOF CONDITION – Your 2017 South Africa Gold Krugerrand Anniversary Privy Mark Krugerrand has been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) in perfect Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (PF70UC) condition.
