Almost Uncirculated Roman Empire silver denarius coin. Struck for Emperor Elagabalus at the Rome Mint. Issued between 218 to 222 CE, RIC 107, 2.45g, approx. Certified by NGC to AU, Strike 4/5, Surface 4/5. Obverse: IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped, cuirassed bust facing right. Reverse: LIBERTAS, Libertas standing left holding pileus and scepter, star in right field. Libertas (Latin for’liberty’) is the Roman goddess and personification of liberty.
